I like how the sunlight hits the cliff side and gives it like a glowing effect.

Now that you mention it. I also get display problems. I think it might be vue. specialty when there is a lot of pollyes.. It crashes and comes back saying it's recoveds from a graphics error or someting.. then vue hangs..

How did you do the waterfall?.. very nice.. I'm busy with a waterfall aswell, but I'm doing it in realflow.

Agree with you. The 'heavier' your display card is the better it is for vue to operate i guess.

The waterfall was done in photoshop and used as an alpha plane in vue, then i layered it again in PS. brushes and images. I would love to try a waterfall in Realflow, do you have the 5, the preview looks like its really something else and very easy for waterfalls and such large water bodies. Please let me see your final piece if possible and workflow if you don't mind.

Your waterfall looks very good. :). I'm busy rendering it now. It might take a while as I'm rendering it in sections and each section takes about 3-4 days.. There is about 14 of them.. I'm now @ 5.. lol..

I did make an effort to capture my "making of".. there will be lots of vids and screen shots.. :)

Jip... I'm a big vue fan.. Maxwell sometimes, but not really.
Just checked.. one section started @ 75hours.. about 35 to go.. lol. I know, but at least it's not my longest render.. Check out my marbles. 7 MONTHS! Ive got the screen shot to prove it!! LOL

Yes, that is true. Almost done with the one section. It starts off @ like 400h but then moves down to about 30h.. Still 12 to go. :) So far it's looking really amazing.. Can't wait. :)

Can't wait to see it myself. The render hours are just massive! Still..anything for a good render! Waiting to see how you section it. I know there's something like that in krakatoa in Max, then again i am yet to really break realflow down.
